Boldsky | 6th Jun, 2017 06:00 PM

The holy month of Ramzan is going on. Our Muslim friends are keeping fasts to honour the first sermon of Prophet Muhammad. Fasting during Ramadan brings the greatest of blessings from the almighty.

The ninth month of the lunar calendar is kept aside for piety and spiritual awareness. During this time of hard fasts, it is important to feed the body and soul with healthy and tasty food, at the Iftar and Suhoor.

While it is possible for the women folk to prepare elaborate dishes and feasts for the Iftar, it might not be feasible to do so for the feast at Suhoor. When preparing food for Iftar, people have a lot of time during the day. But when it comes to Suhoor, it is early morning and one needs fresh food at a quicker pace.

It is also important that one eats nutritious food at Suhoor, as it helps in preparing the body for the tough fast ahead during the day.

With this in mind, we bring you the simple, tasty and easy Grilled Omelet Sandwich recipe. This dish is accompanied with fresh mint chutney. With the proteins in the eggs and carbohydrates in the bread, you will surely feel full and prepared for the day's fast. Let's now take a look at the recipe.
