Bugle Rock Garden

If you live in Bangalore, then you must have heard of Bugle Rock Garden, an ancient site which houses massive rocks which emerged out spontaneously millions of years ago. As per historical records, the site of Bugle Rock Garden was used by the guards during the ruler of Kempe Gowda I, the founder of Bangalore, to blow a bugle and light a torch at the time of dusk.

It is the place where Kempe Gowda I built one of the four towers around Bangalore to mark its boundaries. Today, this beautiful park remains filled with locals and other seasonal tourists at the time of dusk and dawn who come here to take a fresh breath of air and enjoy the beauty of nature.

It is located beside the famous Bull Temple and is visited by thousands of people everyday. Covered with lush vegetation, this beautiful garden is an ideal place to soothe your nerves. Wouldn't you love to sit atop its rocks and gaze at the beauty of sunrise and sunset as you feel equanimity within yourself?

Turahalli Forest

Perfect for a day outing, Turahalli Forest is a deciduous forest on the outskirts of Bangalore and overlooks the settlement of Bangalore. It was once a home to a Lord Vishnu temple in the past, however, you can only find the ruins of this temple today. As it provides its visitors with cycling trails, climbing spots and relaxing sites, it is popular amongst locals and is visited by them at the time of dawn and dusk.

Even though there is not much to explore within its boundaries, you will still be charmed by its composed environment which is all set to send you into the world of retirement. Sitting atop its rocky hills as cool breeze bursts onto your face is absolutely an experience worth cherishing. You can also laze by the small pond which is located at its top.
