"There was a gay casting director who said to me, 'I want to see your c**k, can I just feel you'. I started laughing and said, 'Kya baat kar raha hei yaar. Are you serious?' I said, 'No, it's not happening like that'," Ayushmann revealed on the Anaita Shroff Adjania's chat show.
Anaita Shroff asked Ayushmann on what happened next when he resisted to meet the gay film-maker's demands. The actor stated that he had to listen to a full lecture by him as to how to behave and survive in the film industry.
The actor also revealed that right after the release of Vicky Donor, a female fan asked him for his sperms right in front of his mother, while they were at a mall. "My mom is a very simple lady from Chandigarh, and while at the mall, a girl shouted out, 'Vicky I need your sperm!'. My mom was completely scandalised, and looking at me just said, 'Kya kiya beta tune'."
While Hollywood stars stood up against sexual harassment in the industry by voicing against the film-makers for their wrong conduct, Bollywood stars have not done that yet, fearing their career might come to a standstill. No wonder the actor has not revealed the film-maker's name.
The movie industry has a lot of horror stories to tell and almost every new actor has suffered the ordeal of the casting couch. Both men and women have had to face unpleasant situations, all thanks to the unruly film-makers' and casting directors lust. During Anaita Shroff Adjania's chat show 'Feet Up With The Stars', Ayushmann Khurrana was asked if he had to face any weird situations during the start of his career through casting couch and the actor revealed a horrific story that is nothing less than disgusting.
He narrated a story by saying that during an audition, a gay casting director asked him to enact a few scenes and while he was at it, the casting director stopped and asked him to unzip his pants and show him his private parts. The actor continued saying that the casting director's gesture was demeaning and ridiculous and at first he laughed it off and asked him to give him more roles to enact, for which the casting director gave him a big lecture on how to behave in the film industry.
