    If you would want to avoid the tourist crowd of Kozhikode, then you can plan a trip to the serene and peaceful Kappad. It is a small coastal settlement at a distance of 18 km from Kozhikode town and is a perfect place for those looking forward to savouring unpolluted and untouched beaches.

    Blessed with the beauty of rocks and lush green vegetation, its sandy beaches are way too beautiful. It is certainly set to pacify every visitor's heart. Did you know that it is also the place where Vasco da Gama landed in the year 1498? You can find his memorial at Kappad.
